This exquisite self-built duplex stands tall on its very own plot of land, designed to embody the essence of modernity, style, and sophistication. The owner holds a unique philosophy that is reflected in the construction of this beautiful home. As per the owner's belief, carpenters draw a circle and create a square to achieve a perfect space. Similarly, in life, if we follow the right principles, we can find the shape of us and create a perfect life. The owner has endeavored to create a space that holds deeper meaning and serves as a platform for children to learn practical life skills. The aim of this interior design project is to instill the value of following rules and regulations in them at an early age, so that as children grow, they will understand the significance of rules and the role they play in shaping their lives.



The term "Cheng" in Mandarin Chinese refers to a harmonious courtyard specifically designed for relaxation and socialization purposes. This concept is highly favored in the sun-kissed city of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The masterminds behind this exceptional project have ingeniously incorporated the "Cheng" idea by incorporating small yet intricate areas such as patios, terraces, and balconies that exhibit the city's cultural symbols and distinctive atmosphere. The design is not only a testament to the owner's craving for a more humane touch but also caters to their functional needs. By permitting natural light to permeate the area, it creates a luminous and transparent ambiance, fulfilling the owner's requirements for both lighting and space. The commodious dining area is ideal for hosting family and friends, providing a cozy and delightful environment for all to relish unforgettable experiences together.



The designer takes into account the owner's preferences, needs, and expectations while also considering the feelings of all users of the space. This attention to detail is evident throughout the design. The owner's preferred building material, marble, is used in multiple ways and molded to create texture that not only looks beautiful but also showcases the owner's dedication to details and taste.
