The Natural Ecologist's Cloud Shine Space

Cloud Shine Space is located in the area of Beijing's science and technology enterprises, surrounded by 16 parks, ecological environment is livable.

In combination with the regional context, the theme of Cloud Shine Space is to explore the sustainability of natural ecology in the future, calling for a shift from anthropocentrism to eco-centrism.The space uses natural materials and neutral earth tones to create an ecological sense of connection with nature, plant specimens and animal sculptures remind of the subtle relationship between humans and the environment, and cotton, linen and stone evoke primitive memories.

At the same time, the designer introduces elements such as AI, robots, and space probes, putting the original, man-made, and future on display in the same space, and integrating eco-centrism into the design, discussing with the audience the profound issues of ecology, technology, and the future.

At the entrance, the installation is a water drop with a convex lens view, which is inspired by the cosmic probe in the book "Three Bodies", symbolizing the exploration of the unknown and the source of life.



The reception is composed of warm light gray stone, with carved wooden horses and metal trees, mixing the native and man-made in the same space.



The huge ceiling installation of marine life skeletons in the sand table area symbolizes human introspection on environmental pollution and plundering, and overrides the sand table to symbolize the imminent ecological problems.



Beige and brown are the main colors in the negotiation area. The sofas continue the natural and minimalist style, the bar chairs simulate the shape of water, the stone tables, the sculptures of weathered wood, the handmade specimens, the botanical wall decorations, all the corners remind people of the importance of the environment and sustainability.



Another highlight of the negotiation area comes from the fully automated coffee robot, which can perfectly replicate the master's craftsmanship, symbolizing the importance of future intelligence in urban life, and the future symbiosis between technology and nature.



Cloud Shine Space is a natural ecological art gallery, constructing a dialog between humanity and nature.
