Pizhou Runcheng · Spring Scenery Marketing Center

The project is located in Pizhou, the hometown of jade carving in China, with an area of 1831 sq.m. Inspired by the ancient painting "Spring Outgoing", the designers integrated the design line with the culture of Pizhou, to activate the vitality of this thousand-year-old city.



When entering the reception room, the space is adorned with jade carvings of the Yulan flower and Pi Xiu (an auspicious animal of fortune and treasure), exhibiting the cultural legacy of Pizhou and fostering a welcoming reception setting. In the sand table area, the lofty painting, which depicts the exquisite beauty of the scenery, exuding an artistic mood. Mortise and tenon, a traditional craft full of Chinese wisdom, is nested with modern craftsmanship and materials, achieving the perfect fusion of traditional culture and modern fashion.



Redundant partitions are taken down, so that the discussion area becomes more open visually. The cultural and folklore experience area is added to the opening negotiation area. So, there is a stronger cultural aura in the area, and visitors can more easily experience and empathize with the local culture.



A unique IP called "the elf riding the swallow" is produced in the book bar area by fusing Pizhou’s historical allusion with the project's logo. Its dynamic flying gesture conveys the City's innovative, open and inclusive spirit and creates a scene with promise and vigor. Besides, the design team turned a portion of the space into VIP negotiation rooms, to give clients a more private space. Children can play happily in playground with tales from the "Classic of Mountains and Seas" as its theme.



The crystal swallow installation interacts with the bamboo and stone scenery on the negative floor. By blending in with nature, this depicts the lake, mountains, and swallows in an elegant way, giving off an oriental allure. Residents can swim freely in the thermostatic swimming pool, enriching their activities while boosting the bond with the community.



By doing so, it has created shared values and an emotional bond between the city and its citizens, nourishing their minds with humane care.
