With a range of up to 100 miles, Archer’s Midnight is a piloted, four passenger aircraft designed to perform rapid back-to-back flights with minimal charge time in between flights. The aircraft was designed with its own signature touch in order to create an unforgettable travel experience that delights customers at every turn while meeting the stringent performance and safety demands required for commercial airline operations. Midnight features a stunning vertical light on the nose of the aircraft – allowing everyone to easily recognize it’s an Archer aircraft, no different than the iconic badge synonymous with luxury vehicles. When setting out to design its eVTOL aircraft, it was important for Archer to create an aircraft that went beyond utility and instill an emotional connection between passenger and aircraft. Midnight is a modern marvel that marries the world of aerospace engineering with world-class design. Archer heavily prioritized the passenger’s viewing experience when designing the aircraft. Passengers won’t just ride Midnight, they’ll experience the aircraft through a highly connected flight at every touch point, including entry, seating and viewing. For the cabin experience, a partial divider between seats adds personalization for each passenger – complete with passenger’s name, destination, and departure time. Additionally, Midnight has full panoramic windows to keep passengers fully engaged with the city below, with the intention of giving passengers a new perspective that creates a more intimate connection to the world around them.
