EDEN RESIDENCE CAPITOL

Located in Singapore, this project specially designed for a family covers a total area of 3600 square feet, and takes “returning to nature” as the theme. The main colors and textures inspired by “wood and rock” contribute to a living space close to nature, while various decorations featuring dynamic lines suggest the inclusiveness of the space and give a relaxed feeling, offering occupants a warm living experience.

The living room full of wood color boasts a marble wall with green grain to convey a sense of liveliness. To echo that, a three-dimensional painting composed of smooth lines is introduced into the dining room, and the lamp shapes like a flowering branch to make occupants feel as if in vibrant nature. The dark wood color applied in the study expresses calmness and growth — the spiritual core of a family.

The well-designed wall in the master bedroom resembles a folding screen, and is fitted with hidden lights to enhance spatial transparency and make the space visually roomier, which enlivens the whole room to free it from the awkward rigid state. The second bedroom mainly adopts the color of white rock rather than the color of wood to add a touch of retro romance, so as to create an atmosphere completely different from the master bedroom. Following the idea of modern structuralism, the children’s room uses the bright orange preferred by children, and the decorations with fluid lines, whereby to cater to ever-changing aesthetic taste of children during their growth.
