Inner Peace·Fuzhou

The project is located in the urban high-quality section of Cangshan District in the south of Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. It faces the river as a scenic resource in the north, and has rich educational resources and complete medical and commercial supporting facilities inside. The project landscape is positioned as a modern Chinese style, which integrates the surrounding site resources and creates an ink painting that combines waterfront landscape, parks and human settlements.

The design focuses on spiritual, functional health and the inheritance of local culture.

Based on the reputation of the three famous mountains in Fuzhou since ancient times, architects arranged three green islands in the water garden, symbolizing the three divine mountains on the sea, and endowing the local culture with a higher level of spiritual pursuit. In terms of the spatial sequence of the landscape, the design adopted the traditional "three lanes and seven alleys" layout in the urban memory of Fuzhou. The triple progressive space and the six-fold regional setting with the characteristics of Fujian folk philosophy have sublimated the overall design from "painting environment" to "artistic conception", creating a layer-by-layer progressive effect.

Above the main entrance of the demonstration area, the addition of glass creates a rich light effect. The combination of shaded trees, characteristic landscape walls and unique Logo creates a welcoming scene. The waterscape and plants in the atrium of the front field are indistinct, combined with the characteristic contrast formed by the landscape wall; landscape stones and corridors complement each other, highlighting the artistic conception of natural landscape; the extended negotiating and resting platform provides customers with a space to stop and immerse themselves in the picturesque landscape.

The water court space brings visitors back to the natural environment from the noisy city. With the floating island as the theme, architects have set up children’s activity venues and water play facilities suitable for all ages. Such a playable, touchable and sensible leisure activity place enhances the fun of family visits.
