YueLu Mansion

As the first project of the second phase of China Railway City, the project is located in the eastern suburb of Licheng District, Jinan City, with the Olympic Sports Center in the west and Zhangqiu District in the east. The site runs through the Jingshi Road urban development corridor from east to west in Jinan. It is the core location of the Caishi area, about 10km away from the Olympic sports area in Jinan’s new city center, and about 13km away from Jinan East Railway Station. It has a relatively regular boundary, with a length of about 196 meters from north to south and a width of about 178 meters from east to west.



The project consists of bungalows and stacked villas. The supporting facilities are located in the middle of the east side of the plot and arranged along the road. According to the project plan, the design make full use of the surrounding natural landscape resources to serve the project and enhance its value and comfort. At the same time, architects conducted in-depth research on the topography, respected the existing topography, reduced the reconstruction of the site, and better integrated the building with the surrounding environment.



In the design, architects implement the concept of "one axis, one belt, three rings, and nodes in series" to create a garden-style shared living system in parks and penetrate the open space of the community and neighbors. "One axis" refers to the north-south urban landscape corridor, which connects the block and the transparent view of the mountain on the south side, maximizing the value of the landscape. "One belt" refers to the transparent sight of the urban landscape from east to west, extending from the inside to the outside, connecting the internal resources with the surrounding urban resources. "Three Rings" refers to the construction of leisure and exercise places for surrounding residents during the day, such as urban slow walking paths, running tracks, and mountain walking paths.
