Tranquility · Seclusion

This is a villa project located in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. The interior space had a complex original structure and circulation, so before allocating functions, the designer first reorganized the spatial relationships and circulation logic to create a fresh sense of vitality, allowing light, air, and people to engage in a dialogue within the space.



The living room on the ground floor features staggered spaces defined by scale. The high-ceiling area serves as an elegant micro-French-style living room, conveying the grandeur and quality of villa living.



Structurally, the designer removed the original partitions between the living and dining areas, reorganizing the circulation of space to create a new spatial form for the entire ground floor, making it more open and transparent. In terms of decoration, simple lines with delicate plaster ornamentation, exquisite marble fireplace, and refined furniture combine to create an atmosphere of French elegance with a touch of artistic sensibility.



The dining area is located above the staggered living room. The designer removed all the walls in this space, using a transparent wine cabinet as a divider between the dining and kitchen areas, maximizing the openness of the space and creating a comfortable dining and kitchen area with extended depth.



A generous area gives the master bedroom a sense of luxury, with clean lines and warm tones reminiscent of the gentle morning sunlight of a winter day, creating a comfortable and serene atmosphere.
