Chunshen Villa

With the continuous upgrading of living concepts, people's thinking about living ideals is undergoing profound changes. Home is a mirror of life, reflecting every change in living ideals through projection. How to endow the cold architectural form with emotions and create a harmonious and comfortable living space in the field is the spiritual world that both owners and designers strive to explore.



This case is located in a secluded and high-quality luxury residential area in the city, with a single family villa of 600㎡, a total of 2 floors, and no basement. The homeowner has been living for over 15 years and the interior decoration is tending to age. We hope that the designer can comprehensively renovate and upgrade the exterior facade and interior space of the building for the homeowner's future elderly living use.



Daylighting is the first problem to be solved in design. The designer has transformed the ceiling above the stairs into a glass roof, allowing sunlight to shine into the interior, bringing vivid and vibrant nature into the room. Through the resonance of the connected field, it enhances the smoothness of both internal and external views. In natural density, the sense of relaxation in the field is slowly released.



The choice of spatial field is based on the color of earth wood, to carry the sense of life in the space. Through the combination of colors and tactile sensations of different lightness, the background color of life gradually emerges amidst the interweaving of cotton, linen, leather, wool, and plant textures. Here, plants not only serve as color embellishments in the space, but also serve as a weather vane for caring for the health of homeowners. The selection of furniture also focuses on soft and transparent lines, removing complex decorations and colors, and returning to simple space creation and furnishings. The relationship between design and life is not only about the endowing of materials and techniques, but also about people's living experience in space.
