Minimalized Hotel

Located in the alleys of Hengchun Township nearby the Kenting Forest Recreation Area in Southern Taiwan, this design project is far away from the urban hubbubs, and without excessive luxurious interior decorations, it is reconstructed from an old house while keeping the historical traces of the original building; the spatial tone with the light industrial architectural concrete style is applied as the main theme for the style, providing minimalized living experience, as well as a place where both the body and the mind can relax.



With the utilization of light industrial succinct design, the soft and warm natural lights are allowed to pour inside, such that bathing under the joy of the sunlight along with the refreshing gentle sensations of wood resembles a pair of tender hands, which quietly and carefully comforts each and every fatigued soul; this concept is further concretized bit by bit through mix and matching to demonstrate the cozy, comfortable and charming spatial sentiment.



Spatial taste originates from the desires towards life, the experience of culture and the overlapping of times; the work reveals succinct and pure colors with charm, telling stories for the space based on minimalized lifestyle, while the vague visual axis and the exquisite spatial ratio planning carry loads of blessings.
