Huangruyi Villa Residence

The project is located in Guangzhou. It is a four-story villa with a building area of 400 square meters and an outdoor garden area of 60 square meters. The owner has a preference for Italian and Chinese furniture styles and admires the exquisite lines of French cabinet doors. The owner wants a space that combines a retro feel with a touch of modernity. Through in-depth communication with the owner, it was decided to design the project with a new French-Chinese fusion style.



For the spatial design, the owner desired a blend of retro and modern elements. In terms of interior design, a more modern approach was taken, and materials like walnut veneer were used for cabinets and screens to create a warmer French texture. Intelligent lighting design was applied throughout the space, with accent lighting in the dining and living areas, while other spaces were designed with no central lighting fixtures to enhance the modern feel.



In terms of color scheme, the ceiling was left white, and the walls were painted in a light coffee color. High-saturation colors were used for key elements like the main sofa, creating visual impact and highlighting the elegant and rich style of the new French-Chinese fusion.



The selection of soft furnishings followed a 70:30 principle, with 70% modern French and Italian furniture and 30% new Chinese-style furniture. The project includes a significant number of cabinets, and the use of herringbone-patterned cabinet doors with delicate lines adds a romantic and intricate French touch. The addition of gold cabinet handles serves as the finishing touch. French wardrobes retain a sense of nostalgia for history, making European furniture more accessible without being overly ostentatious. They also reflect people's ongoing pursuit of freedom, transforming homes into places of stress relief and relaxation.
