Tianjin Zhonghai - Sky Mirror

The project continues the modern design style of the building, condensing the simple and pure spatial temperament as a means to create a quality life in the metropolis, with the theme of "Walking through the mirror of the sky, encountering the metropolitan life". The "Mirror of the Sky" is a description of the site and quality of life, combining modern architecture and fashionable art to create a simple and extreme, quiet and ethereal, an ideal country isolated from the world. Among them, the hotel-like homecoming experience, three realms and two gardens are the three key points of the landscape, from which JTL studio hopes to create an aesthetic landscape with dignity and elegance.

In order to have a resort hotel-like homecoming experience, the designers used the central axis symmetrical design method, combining the central water feature with continuity, the stacked water feature wall and exquisite trees, increasing the relationship between near and far, and unfolding a picture scroll of the sky.

The internal core landscape is characterized by plants that link different functional spaces to form a coherent touring experience, which frees the residents' minds as they pass through.

Along with the tour path, the forest path to stone steps high and low, winding in the forest, waterfalls cascading between the mountains and forests, birds and flowers. Walking forward, the compact line of sight opens up, into the eyes of a soothing sunshine lawn, the lawn is placed in the center of an art sculpture. Continuing through the shaded walkway, the delicate flora creates natural colors as you move through the landscape. As you look up, your vision ends with the eaves of the parlor and the cascading branches of the trees. As you walk slowly, a little fire dances in the midst of all the greenery, making it even more cozy. The scent of herbs, the sound of water near and far, and the warmth of the fireplace create a place of relaxation, communication and interaction with a spatial texture of multi-sensory dimensions.
