Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Venture Zone

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Venture Zone is an important measure taken by Shenzhen Qianhai to implement national strategic plans and promote youth innovation and entrepreneurship in the Greater Bay Area. The building upholds the architectural philosophy of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, and sustainable development. It was jointly designed by two international Architects, Hong Kong HUAYI and Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners.

Interior design is an extension of architectural concepts and a penetration of exterior wisdom. The design approach inherits the style and design philosophy of architectural design, utilizing the high-tech architectural spatial treatment method to allow materials to adhere to the flow and transformation inside and outside the space, maintaining seamless connections between indoor and outdoor areas. This treatment method both maximizes the open mindset of young entrepreneurs and actively creates a free and open spatial environment.

The designers always focus on the core values of livability, community, and nature, extracting and extending various architectural elements with the aim of providing users with a contemporary community workspace that combines green ecology with natural elements. The scheme extracts the traditional spatial structure of Lingnan villages and combines it with the spatial function of modern offices, creating a carrier for the continuation of Lingnan culture and a publicly open and diverse urban space through the extraction and stripping of the structure.
