Culture × Technology × Kaohsiung

In 2023, the first TTXC Taiwan Technology X Culture Expo landed in Kaohsiung. This national-level exhibition, centered around culture and technology, introduces elements from various fields such as film, music, industry, and parties. It showcases the most profound cultural content and cutting-edge technological advancements, using a language of curation that is approachable to the general public, thus exploring, interpreting, exhibiting, and promoting the largest-scale cultural technology event in the country.

By combining Taiwan's largest XR film exhibition, the Kaohsiung Film Festival, and the Takao Rock Festival, it connects Kaohsiung's local cultural attractions, guiding the people to soar into the virtual and real world of cultural applications, riding the wings of technology.



Future Exhibition Hall

With the Coral Zone, Dolphin Walkway, and outdoor plaza of KMC as the base, the image of the main venue is presented through the creative combination of sound and sight.



The exhibition includes:

1. On the first floor of Coral Zone lands the biggest immersive film festival in Asia, XR Dreamland, including VR360, 6DoF, human-machine interaction, multiplayer interactive theater, and immersive theater. On the second floor of Coral Zone, the Dolphin Walkway, and the outdoor plaza of KMC present multiple technical works from tech companies, making a huge visual art exhibition of virtual reality technology.



2. A large dome theater with immersive audiovisual equipment featuring video, animation, an interactive system, and a global shipping live view system to highlight the relationship between Kaohsiung Port and the world, and to introduce the port environment and cultural features.



3. Exhibiting cutting-edge applications with a virtual photography studio and offering the public a chance to experience an immersive photography experience.



4. AI research results in Taiwan: This exhibition and interaction allow the public to understand how AI recognizes, understands, and generates.



5. Collaborate with audiovisual professionals in Taiwan to combine major Taiwanese audiovisual works of the year with technology and interaction. The innovative exhibition allows the audience to experience the Taiwanese audiovisual works' content and become a “Taiwanese Fan.”
