Azure Reverie: SS24 Capsule

Avantika Malhotra's Spring Summer 2024 ready-to-wear capsule collection was first presented at New York Fashion Week. It is a seamless extension of her previous work, 'Whispers in the Current'. This new creation delves even deeper into the enigmatic depths of the ocean, embodying the dual nature of comfort and fear that it so elegantly represents.



In 'Azure Reverie', Avantika invites the audience to a sensory voyage, painting a vivid dreamscape with hues that mimic the ever-changing shades of the sea, from the tranquil blues reflecting a serene sky to the vibrant yellows reminiscent of a sun-kissed horizon. The collection mirrors the dynamic yet soothing aura of the ocean, mirroring its transformative states.



The fabrics chosen are an ode to the fluidity of the ocean itself. Flowing, sheer fabrics elegantly cascade, reminiscent of waves dancing to an unseen melody. Avantika's original print designs further capture the spirit of the sea. Central to 'Azure Reverie' is the fusion of classic silhouettes with modern takes on draping and patternmaking.
