Love is often associated with romance, and the term "moon" is also frequently given romantic connotations in phrases like "a beautiful moonlit night" or "under the moonlight."

The design of the Guangzhou Wedding Customs Cultural Museum incorporates many romantic elements on the basis of traditional Chinese culture.

The entrance features a moon-themed wall design, symbolizing completeness, integration, longing, and love.

In the ceiling's modern Chinese design, hexagonal palace lanterns are embedded for illumination. Inside the lampshades, LED lights project the image of mandarin ducks playing in the water onto the floor. The floor design uses highly reflective black tiles, creating a tranquil night pond scene with the moonlight reflection in the background. The mirrored effect also addresses the low ceiling height of the building, alleviating the sense of confinement. Additionally, numerous elements of traditional Chinese wedding customs are used, such as silk screens, paired lotus flowers, mandarin ducks, double happiness characters, couplets, and more.

The "Lingnan Style" exhibition hall mainly displays various wedding attire, wedding items, and wedding photographs from the Lingnan region. It introduces the wedding attire of common ethnic groups and long-term residents in Guangdong Province, including Hakka wedding attire, Chaoshan wedding attire, Cantonese wedding attire, Yao wedding attire, Hui wedding attire, Manchu wedding attire, and Dai wedding attire, among others.
