Unadorned

The site is a new apartment. The designer created a wabi-sabi style that combines wood grain and rattan according to the client's preference of minimalism and purity. Three removable doors eliminate the shortcomings of the long, narrow layout and the lack of light from one side. The first one is a rattan vista at the entrance, which serves as a screen with holes to avoid feng shui taboos, reduces indoor wind resistance, enhances the amount of natural light, and can be folded back against the wall to maximize spaciousness. The second is a 300cm wide sliding door, covered with natural mineral paint, which is refreshing and offers a large storage capacity, achieving the ultimate in aesthetics and design. The third is a wooden grille sliding door that serves as a boundary between the social and private areas, adding dimension to the expression of natural light and shadow.

Rattan weaving, mineral paint, and wood grains outline the soft lighting that defines the happiness of the family.
