Mogong

The project is situated in a quiet alleyway within a bustling district of New Taipei City. Utilizing a copious amount of specialized coating and paint to create a subtle ink wash effect on the walls, evocative of traditional Chi-nese landscape paintings. This design extends from the TV wall to the entrance, engendering a low-key yet opulent atmosphere that embodies the idea of "defend as attack."





Upon entering the foyer, A large expanse of flooring and walls patterned with cast-in-place concrete, imbued with a rugged finishing touch achieved by utilizing dark-colored paint. The intricate wooden elements and polished finish above the paint, appearing clean and bright like blank spaces on paper, create a sharp contrast between destruction and rebirth, wildness and tranquility. The metal materials such as iron parts, titanium plating, and mirrors, exuding a cold metallic style, serve as the strokes of a saturated pencil in a designer's sketch, precisely dividing the space.





The master bedroom incorporates the client's desire for a Hollywood-style dressing table. Beneath the wooden drawers in the dressing room, there is a black glass step that resembles a stage. When the lights shine through, the owner of the space is transported to a theatrical life, as if about to make a grand entrance like an actor. Every day becomes a spectacular performance.



The 20-square-meter terrace space, with its lighting, specially selected outdoor seating, and plantings, gives the impression of walking into the freedom of the forest when stepping out of the indoor space. The public space indoors and outdoors is larger than the personal rest space. The owner's life attitude emphasizes warmth with family and friends, much like the Mo family's "Jian Ai" (universal love). They do not impose their own needs on others, yet they do not sacrifice their own space for others ei-ther.
