PW.Orca is a VTOL fixed-wing drone, designed from the ground up for logistics applications, with safety and reliability at the heart of its conception. Its an orca-like appearance that ultimately led to the product's name and color scheme, which reference the iconic animal known for its elegance, strength and intelligence.

With full compliance to the lastest EASA drone regulations, PW.Orca has multiple safety features such as redundant power-trains, sensors, actuators, and a flight termination system including a parachute.

Within a 2.98m wingspan, PW.Orca can carry payloads up to 15kg in its 96 liter payload bay at a cruise speed of 110 km/h. The PW.Orca nose canopy and payload bay are ergonomically designed to reduce the physical effort and time required by operators to load and unload cargo. It also includes a bottom opening for cargo winching options and future automation with a docking station. Cargo can be prepared on our modular slide-in pallet, minimizing idle time spent on the ground. PW.Orca's flight and ground control systems are fully self-developed for simplicity of operation and guaranteed robustness even under adverse operational and environmental conditions. It was designed to meet the demands of all elements.

PW.Orca excels in the vast majority of cases such as urgent and time critical medical deliveries in urban and and remote regions and high value industrial & offshore cargo in hard to reach places. PW.Orca allows automatic transportation of cargo by air, outpace ground-bound transport, minimize turnaround time, and build a green and sustainable air cargo network.

To date, PW.Orca has received BVLOS approval in several areas of the United Kingdom and Germany and has begun large-scale operations in the UK Midlands, Dutch North Sea and other regions.

With its operational qualities and high availability, PW.Orca enables local air delivery services to achieve economic viability. They will provide on-time deliveries and emergency services to remote locations, connecting people to the supply chain and helping to improve living standards.

For the intended package sizes, PW.Orca is approximately 200 times more energy efficient than a manned helicopter and will help to reduce carbon emissions in logistics.
