It is the world's first label-less lubricant bottle launched by Shell Helix. This label-less lubricant bottle provides an industry breakthrough solution that brings sustainable benefits of carbon footprint reduction and environmental protection, highlighting the brand's calling for environmental protection and consolidating the responsible enterprise image.
Unlike regular products, this label-less lubricant bottle, designed by a top international design team, removes the plastic label and ink printing at the bottle body with the trademark presented by the embossing process, and product information printed by laser technology, reducing the use of materials and energy. It takes a rose-gold tone with fine texture, delivering a strong visual impact.
As it is made of a single material, the resources required for waste separation are also saved, thus the recyclability of the bottle is greatly improved. Also, the bottle applies 30% PCR (recycled plastic contents). With all these, the whole label-less bottle will reduce more than 100 tons of CO2 a year and eliminate 4.4 tons of waste a year, which would save 5.5K USD in waste disposal costs.
With a simple and stylish design, this label-less lubricant bottle echoes the lubricant inside, embodying Shell's idea of embracing advanced GTL (Gas to liquids) technology instead of traditional oil refining ways and presenting a new visual brand image. From its launch to today, it has been highly received by the market with its positive environmental contribution and resonation with young consumers' passion for innovation and personalization.
