The Coat Hinger is a foldable coat hanger designed by inventor and YouTuber Simone Giertz. Initially funded through Kickstarter, the Coat Hinger provides a unique solution for small closet spaces.

Giertz invented it to address insufficient storage space in her Los Angeles home. After three years of development she landed on a stainless steel design with an injection-molded acetal hinge, making the Coat Hingers both sturdy and long-lasting.

Their foldable design allows them to occupy less space, making them ideal for small apartments, compact living spaces, and RV living. Coat Hingers exemplify how innovative thinking can transform everyday objects into solutions for common challenges.
