The Harbin Creative Design Museum adopts 'Awareness·REVIVING' as the design theme for its exhibition space, striving to physically manifest the 'exhibition ceremony scene' inspired by the minimalist design of Bauhaus. The entire space disrupts traditional narrative concepts, creating a tree-shaped narrative space through seven exhibition areas. It traces the journey from the birth of design to its applications in urban, commercial, and everyday life. With over 200 design exhibits, it guides visitors from the ground up, gradually deepening their understanding of the power and revolution inherent in creative design.
In terms of spatial layout, the design team has incorporated multiple physical-mechanical interactive installations and immersive image spaces throughout the museum. These installations are strategically placed to guide visitors to release their emotions when facing them. Furthermore, taking into account the limited conditions of the onsite space, a sensory experience of 'suppression - elevation - reflection' is created through manipulating the height of the space from 'low to high to low'. This design allows people to experience a more diverse and colorful world of design and creative fun.
