Opinion from The Third：IW Magazine 25th Exhibition

25 years ago, in a background where design media in Taiwan had not yet flourished, the IW magazine team hoped to have a publication that comprehensively and professionally summarized architecture and space design. Among them, the reporting scope is not only focused on "space/architectural design", but also furniture, home decorations and other life aesthetic items that are closely related to "users" are also worthy of in-depth discussion. Now, while comes to the 25th anniversary of its founding, IW magazine has stepped out of the behind-the-scenes, broken away from the paper frame, and hopes to have real communication with readers through curation.



The entire exhibition not only showcases our magazine's historical highlights with internationally famous brands, PP Møbler, Gufram, Memphis Milano, Flos, and Smeg but also invites two well-known representative cultural figures to share their professional views through lectures. In summary, by taking "life" as the fulcrum, "aesthetics" as the focus, and "perseverance" to express the opinion, the IW team wishes to evoke a clash of readers' points of view during this unprejudiced reading experience and also injects new thoughts into a cluster of buildings of historical value.
