The Optometry Center Building of the Fourth People's Eye Hospital of Xi'an is located in Building 202, Artificial Intelligence Innovation Building, Aerospace City, Shaanxi Province. The Optometry Center focuses on adolescent eye problems and provides comprehensive medical testing and treatment. This space design subverts tradition and creates an artistic high-end service experience in the field of ophthalmology.
Design theme: "Colorful White". White symbolizes the future, hope, neutrality and trustworthiness. The combination of color and white in the space gives the space more connotation. In warm neutral tones, each clinic area is decorated with its own theme color, creating a lively atmosphere. The "Eye in the Sky" design in the front hall adopts an oval shape, echoing the structure of the eye and emphasizing the importance of the eye. The wood-colored and stainless steel curved interior presents a balance of natural comfort and technological tension, and the stylish and simple guidance system is pleasing to the eye. The logo system is integrated into the decoration, weakening the sense of agency through "de-identification" design. The waiting area is equipped with various types of table and chair combinations to provide customers with different choices.
The optometry center is divided into five floors with clear functional divisions, including a vision examination hall, optometry room, expert clinic, instrument room, distribution room, etc. The semi-open nurse station facilitates patient inquiries and reduces barriers. Eye-catching directional guidance is installed at the entrance of the clinic and each clinic area to provide visitors with clear guidance. In medical planning, a loop is formed between various departments, and service units are set up at the entrances of each department to facilitate patients to get help quickly. Modern medical technology improves the accuracy and efficiency of diagnosis while providing patients with more considerate medical services. The preventive health education information display area increases patients’ awareness of eye care and encourages timely preventive measures. In addition, the application of energy-saving materials, green building technologies and optimized energy use reduce the burden on the environment.
