At the beginning of the design of this case, I suggested that the first party use "glass bottle" as the store name. The reason is that the term "glass bottle" refers to the glass, the texture of the glass, and the bottle, which can be linked to the products they sell. The glass bottle body, glass wine glass, transparent drinks, ice cubes, etc. can all be closely linked to the "glass bottle". And the entire space is like a vessel, filled with a variety of alcoholic beverages and alcoholic culture. In terms of design, I can also connect glass, glass bricks, and mirror materials with this theme, making the entire store design integrated with its name and products, reflecting that the entire space is a complete, themed, and more suitable retail space from sales to experience.
Unfortunately, the first party did not adopt my suggestion. They put forward their idea - Chun ▪ A tavern. During the design process, I considered that the venue is mainly for the sale of alcoholic beverages. Therefore, in the plan, I used the most complete, longest, and highest height wall as the product display, creating a momentum and highlighting the theme in an arranged manner to achieve the effect. At the same time, I cannot lose the significance of a wine shop (that is, a restaurant), so I need to design the area for drinking and tasting. Therefore, there are areas for guests to taste wine, such as bars and scattered seats. Finally, warehouses, equipment rooms, and bathrooms were designed in some difficult to use spaces.
The first character used in its store name is "Chun", which represents the purity and alcohol content of the wine, as well as the pure original intention of our store for selling liquor and spreading liquor culture. So I used the technique of "purification" in the visual communication of space, designing a space that was almost pure black. Black antique bricks, black decorative panels, black paint, black steel plates, black tables and chairs, endless black in mirror effect Paired with minimalist lighting techniques.
