Timber Symphony

Warm sunlight gracefully streams through the windows into the spacious rooms, brightening the gentle warmth of balmy wood texture and perfectly setting off the serenity of dark hue patterns. The result is a unique aesthetic where diverse materials coexist harmoniously.

As day turned into night, diversified warm lighting adorned the space, tenderly caressing the residents' smiling faces during joyous gatherings. This design enhances the warmth of everyday life, brilliantly adding a soothing glow to uplift the spirits.



Considering the homeowner’s longing for an open floor plan, we removed the existing walls in the entryway and behind the sofa, creating a flat and seamless flooring for the unimpeded communal area.

The multi-functional study, situated behind the living room, features a spacious floating desk, facilitating simultaneous use for the family of four and fostering heartwarming moments of parent-child reading. We skillfully set up a ceiling-mounted bar and mirrored cabinets and left the void around the desk for the couple to do at-home workouts such as pull-ups and aerial yoga. In addition, we thoughtfully adopted the open shelf beneath the closed bookcase, providing easy access for the children to put their books and toys away. This space is a well-rounded haven for all family members.



Weaved into the design as the central motif is the solid wood door with a peacock pattern from the old house. Hence, the entire home features a wood tone complemented by a beige-orange color palette, performing an elegant and sophisticated ambiance of Chinese charm. We meticulously exploit the seamless patterned tiles in dark hue for some surfaces, integrated with artistic wall coating and metallic shelving, resulting in a concise modern circumstance.

French doors in the shared area brilliantly introduce natural light and the green view outside, harmonizing with the warm earth tone of the home furnishing. The agreeable settings marvelously enhance the soothing, refreshing ambiance and provide a haven for the busy, stressed male homeowner to unwind.
