Hemu The Home · Private Kitchen Shen Yu Tea Space is located above a pre-existing landscape water area, cleverly incorporating ancient elements to create a serene, profound, and simple leisurely corridor garden. Here, with Hemu's unique oriental aesthetics, a Zen-style tea space rich in garden aesthetics is presented to guests.

Drawing inspiration from the classical architecture's beam and column structure, a waterside gallery connects three sets of tea-tasting spaces, creating an atmosphere of "tracing the footsteps of Qiyuan" and approaching the poetic realm of "Zhaige has the charm of a secluded person." The lattice fences in the space are made of weathered wood, sometimes left blank and sometimes opened, subtly revealing the beauty of another space. The designer uses techniques such as borrowed scenery and transparent scenes to enrich the layers between spaces, creating a more profound and tranquil feeling.

In terms of material selection, the rough texture and weathered texture paint, along with the patina of ship wood and the natural texture of mulberry and hemp paper, place the base color of the space in a stable and substantial context. The interior furnishings are also meticulous, with selected Ming and Qing wood carvings and Taihu stones from southern mountains, highlighted by the reflection of light, embodying a sense of "ancient elegance and hidden luxury."

Suspended above the water surface, a Qing Dynasty winter melon beam breaks the "conventional" and adds an interesting touch to the space. As guests approach the water surface, wandering around the winter melon beam, whether walking, sitting, enjoying the fragrance of tea, or sipping wine while listening to the qin, it creates an atmosphere where "those who stay forget aging, those who reside forget returning, and those who explore forget weariness."
