JZ Club Jazz Bar

Located at Hengshan Road 8, JZ Club has undergone renovations while preserving the original historical aesthetics, resulting in a commercial art space that seamlessly combines a sense of history with innovation.
The space comprises B1 and BM levels. B1 is divided into entrance, bar area, stage area, dance floor, seating area, VIP area, and restroom. The designer strategically utilizes vertical space to cater to the varied needs of each functional area, ensuring a smooth flow for bar patrons to enjoy performances from both the front and rear areas.
The bold attempt of a 12-meter-long bar in this JZ Club is a distinctive feature. The sunken interior of the bar allows bartenders and customers to maintain eye contact, facilitating smooth communication. The bar incorporates recycled red military drums transformed into pendant lights, involving musicians and owners in the project, not only embracing ESG principles but also adding a touch of humanity to the endeavor.
A removable railing is designed between the dance floor and seating area, serving the dual purpose of separating different zones in daily operations and meeting the temporary space requirements for large dance events.
a 120cm-wide handrail is installed on the walls, complemented by lighting underneath. In the dimly lit bar environment, this not only guides movement but also provides a place for patrons to rest their drinks, enriching the overall consumer experience.
BM level is primarily divided into VIP rooms of different consumption levels, musician rest areas, and public spaces. The extensive use of wood veneer, brass, tiles, eco-friendly SPC flooring, and red-toned furniture creates a warm, retro ambiance that harmonizes with the classic jazz theme.
The entire design is built on a foundation of acoustic systems, ensuring optimal live music effects in every corner. Considering the echo and reverberation of the entire space, JZ Club not only delivers an unforgettable visual experience for live audiences but also allows anyone in the bar's corners to enjoy a professional and hall-level jazz music experience.
