The Hidden Mountain and Sea aims to connect the indoors and outdoors in a super-invisible and nuanced way, seamlessly blending the architecture, landscape, and interior. It creates a comfortable, serene, and private contemporary holiday space for the owner, encouraging a return to nature and strengthening family bonds.

The basement capitalizes on the space and terrain to build a garage and a private drawing room. The glass tiles allow sunlight to enter the garage. A linear light design on the ceiling, an embodiment of the continuation of time, enhances the layered and immersive sense of the space. When the owner drives home, he can feel at ease and enjoy a luxurious experience.

The hallway features steps that reduce the possibility of water entering the interior due to the terrain while enhancing the owner's sense of ritual. The private drawing room includes a water bar and a recreation area. Indoor light and sunlight spilling into the patio contribute to a private, relaxed, and comfortable space.

The teahouse, living room, dining room, and kitchen room on the first floor are connected by an open-plan design. Notably, the opposite side of the teahouse is planted with podocarpus macrophyllus, making it possible for people to savor tea while immersed in Chinese tea culture. Seats in the living room are strategically arranged face to face to promote friendly interaction between the owner and visitors.

The living room considers the limitation of the structural beam and the story height and incorporates the arc element to connect the ceiling, along with the specially designed patio, improving the sense of spaciousness and interaction with nature.

Moreover, the entire space echoes the external landscape. With each window framing a scenery, this invisibly forms an interactive relationship between the interior and the exterior.
