Chasing Light and Meeting Light Restaurant

This project is located in basement-1 of the Lize Business District, covering an area of 2500 square meters. It was a bicycle parking, partial ceiling height is 2.5 meters, different horizontal levels on the same floor, lacking courtyard, illumination and ventilation, the design environment is complex. The design inspiration comes from the stress relief needs of young white-collar workers in modern business districts, the space is divided into welcoming, Japanese cuisine, Western cuisine, Chinese cuisine and bar areas.

The designer introduced the Duome’an Health Space Intelligent Management System, simulating the three elements of sunlight, air and water. Using real sunlight full-spectrum lighting, World Health Organization standard forest air and a multi-purification water system, the restaurant creates a fresh, comfortable and hopeful dining environment. The design avoids the drawbacks of traditional blue LED lights, employing Duomei’an safe material systems, including antibacterial and environmentally friendly coatings, formaldehyde-free boards, and an advanced plasma disinfection machine that releases a large number of negative ions to eliminate airborne bacteria.



In terms of healthy drinking water, in addition to water purifiers, the restaurant addresses the issue of pollution in tap water pipes by using antibacterial water supply pipes and self-cleaning ceramic core technology. This ensures the highest quality of pure, healthy and excellent-tasting water. Chasing Light and Meeting Light brings the elements of sunlight, air and water from nature into living spaces. Through designs, the restaurant provides customers with a dining space that promotes physical and mental well-being. Now, the restaurant advocates chasing the inner light, prompting people to reflect on their health and positioning itself as an ideal place that combines inner and outer well-being.
