Queens Commons: Bridging Communities and Infras

Triboro Commons is a transit-oriented urban design project that envisions a new urban framework for a future station site along the proposed Triboro Line in New York City.Departing from the conventional approach of converting existing manufacturing industries into real estate developments,our proposal rethinks the manufacturing function of the urban site.The project integrates landscape architecture strategies to establish a highly active public realm and reconnect the site with local communities,addressing the challenges posed by transportation infrastructure and socioeconomic disparities.
