Yue Lai Yue Hao - Mooncake Packaging

The mooncake packaging of VOION's "YueLaiYueHao" (meaning "Getting Better Every Month") is themed around the Mid-Autumn Festival. The title of entry features a creative play on words. The first character is replaced with a depiction of a moon, representing the traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival and the tradition of moon-gazing. The overall packaging adopts the shape of a container cargo ship, symbolizing a scene of a fully loaded ship sailing on the sea, representing the spirit of prosperity, resilience, and perseverance.

The packaging features environmentally friendly molded pulp design that is fully degradable. The sleeve utilizes eco-friendly flexographic printing, and the foldable handle design facilitates logistics transportation, saving space. The mooncake box is printed with eco-friendly water-based ink and designed to resemble a container, allowing the entire packaging to be used as a decorative item after consuming the mooncakes. It can also be re-purposed as a storage box or flower pot.

All packaging components can be produced using mechanical automation, ensuring high efficiency and low cost.
