Guigang Jihuayuan Lotus Residence

The project is located in Guigang, a place known as the Lotus City. Hence, the project’s landscape design drew inspiration from graceful lotus flowers and extracted their abstract image and cultural connotations, eventually presenting the Artificial Lake and Lotus Valley. Embracing waterfront tranquility and peacefulness, diverse landscapes interweave to create a livable space, bringing a refreshing feeling.
The design concept of Artificial Lake and Lotus Valley originated from the yearnings for a vacation life by the sea and the pursuit of Chinese traditional garden aesthetics. This design introduced Artificial Lake, a modern technique invented in China, to inherit the landscape techniques of Suzhou-style gardens. Meanwhile, it combined stereoscopic layouts of architectural planning to create a two-story garden landscape and a healthy life featuring a three-speed path in the air. By thoroughly integrating classical styles and modern qualities, it carried forward the aesthetical spirit of Chinese gardens and innovatively combined modern techniques to create a garden life unique to Jihuayuan Lotus Residence in Guigang.
Design Highlights of Demonstration Zone-Taking lotus as the core of its theme, this design successfully inherited the exquisiteness of Chinese-style gardening techniques and absorbed the elegance of Suzhou-style classical gardens to create four cultural core experience spaces: smelling lotus flowers, appreciating lotus flowers, admiring lotus flowers, and tasting lotus flowers. A unique stereoscopic two-story garden was used as the landscape background to create a spatial structure with four entries and double waterfront courtyards. Coupled with a modern, exquisite Artificial Lake, it portrayed the life aesthetical blueprint for the unique nine scenic spots of Lotus Residence.
