CR Land Cloud Vision Experience Center

Located in the core area of the Suzhou Olympic Sports Center, the CR Land Cloud Vision Experience Center is connected to Xietang River, the Olympic Sports Park, and Jinji Lake. MDO aims to transform it into an art gallery for the Olympic Sports City planning area, providing the opportunity for everyone to enjoy a portable urban art excursion in their own community. Experience a sense of travel-like freedom and perceive the tranquil elegance of a poetic life.

The individual pixels of space form a three-dimensional modern garden painting, with an open, free-flowing, and meandering layout that adjusts the collision frequency between visitors. This design preserves opportunities for selective circulation of sightlines and pathways. The boundaries between functional areas are implicit yet clear, transforming a singular space into one that is rich and orderly.

The color palette balances serene and elegant tones with the bold volumes and linear shapes of architectural features. The interior walls are conceptually inspired by "mountains reflected in a pond," adorned with silver foil. When light interacts with the material, it creates a rhythmic play of light resembling the flow of water. Other structures mimic pavilions along the water's edge and pavilions within the water itself.

Contrasts between reality and illusion, as well as dynamic layering, enrich the spatial experience. People gaze through identical frames, completing a transformation of perspectives from inside to outside. Every corner extends into an exhibition space, providing visitors with an intimate environment to encounter art.
