Light Streams and Cloud Shadow

This project entails devising a commercial space plan for a hair salon. The client's objective is to create a distinctive and unconventional ambiance by utilizing low color gray tones and an industrial style. To this end, the designer has selected gray as the primary color scheme, while employing various materials such as raw concrete paint, metal, iron, and acrylic to create texture and depth. This approach has resulted in a dynamic visual hierarchy, while avoiding a monotonous appearance. It successfully aligns with the client's expectations, thereby producing a hair salon space that is unique and visually captivating.



The designer's goal was to create a space that deviates from the traditional hair salon design. The use of unconventional materials and textures, layered with the gray color scheme, has achieved this objective. The result is an industrial-modern design that is aesthetically pleasing and functional. It is imperative to note that this design approach is not only innovative but also appropriate for the client's intended use. The space is a perfect blend of form and function, and the designer's use of materials and textures has produced a visual masterpiece that sets this hair salon apart from others.



Upon entering the hair salon, one will be immediately struck by the graceful, fluid lines that adorn the space. These curves serve to soften the harshness of the environment and create a sense of warmth and comfort. However, what truly sets this salon apart is the stunning cracked wall design that separates the hairdressing area from the shampooing area. This extraordinary feature was painstakingly crafted by a skilled woodworker, who carefully cut and shaped each individual piece before it was painted with an irregular batch of soil. The result is a breathtakingly unique style that is both fresh and imaginative. Furthermore, the design of the cracked wall also serves a practical purpose, creating a sense of openness and transparency in the shampoo area, which is now filled with natural light.
