From the layout of shelves to the choice of materials and lighting, every aspect of an Erewhon store’s design is carefully curated. So, when Erewhon needed a new mobile app, they asked Delve to design a digital experience that would embody the unique energy and premium allure of shopping in a physical Erewhon store.
• Capturing Erewhon’s atmosphere. The app's design philosophy mirrors Erewhon's in-store ambiance, utilizing earthy tones and a sophisticated dark color story to evoke the sensory experience of strolling through the aisles of fresh, organic produce. The combination of a monochromatic palette rich golds and deep gem tones enhances a sense of refinement and sophistication, which reflects Erewhon’s position as a premium, luxury grocer.
• A visual symphony of freshness. Drawing inspiration from Erewhon's visually striking in-store displays, the app showcases vibrant, food-focused photography that transforms browsing into a sensory delight. Just as in-store, where every product is meticulously curated, the app features striking, editorial-like macro food photography. The style elevates Erewhon's commitment to quality and purity, inviting users to explore a virtual gallery of culinary artistry.
• Personalization at its core. Echoing Erewhon's tailored approach to rotating product offerings and brand partnerships that bring the customers the best of the best in terms of health and wellness, the app delivers a curated shopping experience that adapts to each user's preferences and dietary needs. By prioritizing new discoveries while honoring shopper favorites, the app ensures that every interaction feels personalized and meaningful.
• Seamless Integration of art and utility. Just as Erewhon's in-store environment seamlessly blends aesthetic appeal with practicality, the app prioritizes intuitive navigation and user-centric design.
