SOMO is a collaborative sound system design, featuring an innovative combination of lamp functionality and audio. With its portable and detachable module, users can indulge in immersive audio and ambient lighting in any corner of their home, thus reshaping the landscape of home audio for discerning consumers.

Current audio systems grapple with challenges in space optimization, aesthetics, and achieving a harmonious blend of design appeal and portability. This collaboration of design has embarked on a journey to redefine home aesthetics through seamless creativity and innovation, thereby unlocking a realm of boundless possibilities. How can we empower consumers to forge deeper connections with their surroundings through the redesign of sound systems? The system is divided into three parts: speaker, lamp, and multi-functional components, each with distinct uses based on the user scenario.

To address these questions, I conducted user interviews and observations of existing speakers in the market. Additionally, I attended speaker events to glean insights into optimizing their integration within home environments. The validation of accuracy was achieved through 3D printing, iterative adjustments, meticulous checks of parting lines, and refinement of connection structures.

The ultimate aspiration is for these smart technologies to elevate people's music enjoyment experiences at home, enhancing their overall quality of life.
