Southwest Jiaotong University Rail Transit College Project

The school is located in the eastern new area of Chengdu. It consists of six regular plots of land, with a total land area of 67,746 square meters and a construction area of 300,000 square meters.

The campus master plan is in line with the college's education positioning, meets the needs of the college's teaching and scientific research, teachers and students' life, cultural and sports activities, etc., highlights the characteristics of international cutting-edge and multi-disciplinary intersection, and the design fully embodies the concepts of green, wisdom, innovation and openness.

The school's overall planning adopts TOD + city + university level planning and adopts one center and two rings: the campus center (performing arts, viewing, resting, and communication), the teaching and living ring (student dormitories, canteens, teaching buildings, and laboratory buildings), and the shared service ring (auditorium). , gymnasium, library, life services, scientific research office)

The school adopts hierarchical planning in vertical planning. The functions of the integration layer, teaching layer, and living layer are relatively independent and easy to manage. With a green ecological circle, a vibrant teaching circle, and a convenient and flexible living circle, we will create a new interactive campus world under the "multi-circle integration". It uses distinctive architectural rhythms to strengthen the humanistic traces of campus spirit, uses shorter communication distances to catalyze innovative changes in teaching models, and uses diverse architectural spaces to stimulate behavioral patterns of collision of ideas.
