We deliberately avoid commercial tones, so that those enter the space feel completely at home. The minimalism and restrained architectural elements easily lean towards a cold atmosphere, but to avoid the aloofness, the soft furnishings pay attention to material colors and textures.
The scenery outside unfolds before us like a scroll, with different lighting and shadow effect at different times. Whether it's the birds singing in the spring, the orioles humming in the summer, the sound of the wind in the bamboo at night, or the wintersweets in the mountains break through the cold and bloom proudly, all become an integral part of indoor life.
The SHANG XIA carbon fiber chairs reinterpret traditional Ming-style furniture from a contemporary perspective. They transform the traditional round outside and square inside design into a square outside and round inside, giving it a more modern feel while reinterpreting the Eastern philosophy and aesthetics of the unity of man and nature.
The banquet hall preserves the original wooden structure on the ceiling, with modern decorative techniques that reveal the traces of history. It's as if this ancient residence is slowly telling the story of its century-old history.
