Happy Meal - The legacy in memory

The inspiration for this series stems from my father, a man of few words when it comes to expressing love. In my childhood recollections, Dad was often found socializing outside, returning home inebriated just as I was on the verge of falling asleep. Yet, within the recesses of his pockets, invariably lay hidden treasures. Sometimes, it was a solitary piece of candy, on other occasions, a packet of potato chips, and occasionally, a bar of chocolate. During scorching summers, they would sometimes meld, the chocolate fusing with the wrapper. Though the shape was changed post-melting, the sentiment remained unchanged. Now that I have grown, my father continues to bestow upon me gifts, each more lavish than the last. However, I still prefer to retrieve the melted chocolate from my intoxicated and unclear-minded father's pocket; that is the legacy in my memory.
