1826·ZION Music Private Clubhouse

The interior design program of 1826-ZION Music Clubhouse is a multi-functional space that integrates various elements such as communication, music appreciation, tea experience, and recreation. The initial concept for the project was to create a war-torn style space. However, the design team came into aware that this might not be suitable for a private clubhouse as it could evoke feelings of exhaustion and destruction. To address this, they proposed combining the war-torn style with the American industrial style. The latter, with its less severe historical remnants of life, eases the harsh reality created by the war-torn style. The combination of design elements creates an interior space of the clubhouse that embodies a blend of tradition and modern luxury. Upon walking to the space, the back section exhibits a wall made of reused red bricks, a deliberate choice to evoke a sense of heritage and primitive appeal. By ingeniously repurposing black dyed board teaching aids into a display space adorned with chalk drawings of guitars, not only are artistic creations accented, but the visual impact of the wall is also enhanced. The interior space details are also well-considered, such as vintage vinyl records against the backdrop of red bricks, musical instruments scattered here and there, and more, all contributing to a vintage yet modern appeal. Additionally, the inclusion of a small concert stage and billiards area serves to underscore the American ambiance and style of the project.
