Guangdong Science Center Ocean Exhibition Hall

The design of project shows the process of our understanding, development and utilization of the ocean from ancient times to the present. It highlights the deep cognition on the protection of the ocean, which is highly relevant to the sustainable development and future of mankind, the common protection and the building of a community of human destiny.
Under the theme of the miraculous ocean, the exhibition hall is divided into three main exhibition areas: the miracle of the ocean’s birth, the miracle of the ocean’s wisdom and the miracle of the ocean’s development. Through the story-telling expression and the open thinking exhibition design of mind expansion, the exhibition is designed to guide visitors to develop an awareness of marine science, while enhancing their respect for the oceans and inspiring them to participate in the development and protection of the oceans.
The design of the Hall adopts a full-immersive experience method, using the gorgeous colors of the ocean as the basis to promote the extraction of design elements. It also adopts modular design, using the non-standardization to create a connection between the different space, forming a rapid changes in the combination of exhibits, in order to achieve the continuous updating of the content about the development of marine science and technology, as well as the reorganization of new thematic displays. The design materials are all environmentally friendly.
