This project is a unique blend of classic and modern styles, catering to the needs and aspirations of the new generation of young adults. It explores the light French style and Maillard colour scheme, which have recently gained popularity. The design cleverly employs colour matching, spatial layout, and detail design to create an elegant, warm, and stylish living environment, offering a fresh and innovative take on classic design elements.
The design style blends the elegant light French style and warm Maillard colours with diverse geometric patterns and line variations to create a sophisticated aesthetic. Meanwhile, the vertical colour blocking expands the visual space, making it look broader. Different shades and saturated colours add depth and dynamics to the visual space. The simple vertical lines not only cut out different colour blocks but also achieve the natural division of functional areas, catering to the diverse needs of the residents.
The design follows the principle of human-centred functionality, exploring the needs of young residents to provide small and medium-sized homes with powerful storage functions and personalized spaces. In the storage function design, the project integrates the sideboard and coffee corner to form an integrated coffee corner with multiple storage functions. This innovative design responds to the current trend of the young lifestyle of morning coffee and evening alcohol. The beauty storage section integrates a complementary light-emitting back panel, a beauty storage drawer, and a hidden wall-mounted storage box, which facilitates easy access to personal beauty products, enhancing the quality of life for young residents.
