Silvery Lustre

In the bustling city, a transparent café situated at the corner of the block accompanied us to slow down our pace of life and savor the sunshine and greenery of the afternoon. As the night falls, the soft, warm yellow light overflows, turning it into a fashion bistro, letting close friends gather here to relax and enjoy taking a sip.

We cleverly integrate red brick walls, metal elements, and fair-faced concrete with the original classical arch entrance, creating a unique mix-and-match Industrial style. In addition, opt for matched chic tables and chairs, effectively reducing engineering consumables and refreshing the space via striking furnishings and decorations, gently soothing visitors' minds.

We preserve the original interior Greek-style arch designs, incorporating the homeowner's favored metal elements and dirt-proof fair-faced concrete coating, painting the wooden ceiling crossbeams black, presenting a rustic touch like steel beams in a factory building, skillfully revealing a novel mix-and-match industrial aesthetics of the attractive café. The bar counter is wrapped in an unmodified curved stainless steel plate, fixed with exposed hexagonal screws, which is fashionable and full of personality, making it the most distinctive visual focus of this project.

The space serves as a cafe during the daytime; thence, we adopt a low-chroma such as gray-white, creating an understated and comfortable dining atmosphere. The large windows excellently introduce brilliant sunlight, and the visitors can enjoy the greenery of the surrounding parks, spending a leisurely afternoon. At night, it would converted into a restaurant lounge; therefore, we installed localized accent lighting with warm yellow lights paired with curtains, reducing the brightness of the space, enhancing privacy, and allowing customers to take a sip and enjoy a soothing gathering time with friends.

The linear-shaped bar counter shapes a straight-moving flow and ideally achieves smooth meal-serving processes. In addition, set up adjustable tables to meet the arrangement needs of the varied number of people and leave comfortable walking paths. We veneer the original tables and chairs with leather and fabric. The reclaimed furniture effectively reduces reno-wastes and perfectly reflects the design studio's consistent concept of eco-sustainability.
