The integration of the distinct local history and culture into a modern high-end building is a crucial aspect of design in upscale hotels. As a top-rated residence hotel situated in Keqiao, Shaoxing, the interior design concept of the project blends the unique and longstanding regional culture of Keqiao. Taking the perspective of "the living room in the old town", the designers use modern decorative techniques to seamlessly integrate the local culture into every patch of the hotel. This ensures a flawless fit between the modern upscale atmosphere and the cultural essence of the city. By incorporating an appealing way of expression with urban and humanistic perspectives, the designers insert the cultural genes of the city into the space, providing a diverse range of space level changes and bringing a comfortable environment for guests. While enjoying the comfort of staying in this hotel, guests can also immerse themselves in the unique local cultural elements. Stepping in, you will see the gray and white stone color of the wallpaper which is inspired by Keyan, a famous rock in Keqiao. The lobby floor is made of black marble ornamented with a few white spots, mimicking the mottled texture of ancient town street slabs. Furniture sets such as dining chairs, living room chairs, and the dining room ceiling are infused with local rattan plaiting elements. The private room flooring is laid in a diagonal herringbone pattern, recalling the cherished memory of the primitive old mansions in Jiangnan. In public areas like the restaurant, the glass partition is laminated and coated to derive a unique visual effect of light spots, interplaying with sunlight to simulate the shimmering water reflecting off the corridor in the old town. The interior areas of our hotel, including the guest rooms, are ornamented with works in the theme of the fascinating Jiangnan scenery by the renowned painter Mr. Wu Shanming, trimming the interior spaces and forming a heightened artistic ambiance.
