Design Description: EW Club - A Motorcycle-Themed Whiskey Bar
Project Overview Located by the riverside, this whiskey bar is inspired by motorcycle culture and its most notable feature is the innovative wrapping of the old building with rusted weathering steel plates. This design not only recreates the rugged style of motorcycles but also reinterprets classic industrial elements through modern architectural techniques.
Architectural Features Facade Design: The south facade of the building is particularly eye-catching, featuring a glass curtain wall filled with motorcycles. This design approach not only displays the dynamic beauty of motorcycles but also allows natural light to penetrate, creating a bright and warm atmosphere inside.
Material Use: Rusted weathering steel plates are used as the main building material, showing respect for the old structure while giving new life to the building. This material gradually reveals a unique texture and color over time, complementing the natural surroundings of the riverside.
Interior Design: The interior space, themed around motorcycles, incorporates motorcycle elements into its decor and furniture design. From the bar design to wall decorations, every detail reflects a love and respect for motorcycle culture.
Water-Friendly Design: The building is close to the river and features two outdoor staircases, allowing guests to easily ascend and descend while enjoying the river views. This design not only strengthens the connection between the building and its surroundings but also offers a unique viewing experience.
Environment and Experience This whiskey bar is not just a place for drinking but also a showcase and experience of culture. Guests can feel the charm of motorcycles up close, while enjoying relaxing moments in the beautiful riverside scenery. Both design enthusiasts and motorcycle aficionados can find resonance here.
Conclusion Combining motorcycle culture with modern architectural technology, this whiskey bar is not just a collision of architecture and design, but also a convergence of culture and art. It adds a new landmark to the city and offers a novel social and experiential space for people.
