This case has a deep cooperation with Zaha Hadid Architecture Firm, which needs to showcase the profound historical heritage of Xi'an while also catering to international and modern design concepts. The design inspiration mainly comes from Xi'an's profound historical and cultural heritage of the Zhou, Qin, and Han dynasties, especially the symbols of high-rise architectural elements. This design background not only endows the venue with a unique cultural charm, but also reflects respect and inheritance of local culture. Through collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects, this inspiration is combined with modern architectural design concepts to create a design style that is both traditional and modern.
In terms of material selection, this project extensively uses modern building materials such as metal grilles, concrete slabs, and aluminum panels to create a simple and modern indoor atmosphere. At the same time, the use of clay board color tones and exquisite and elegant curved structures not only enriches the visual effect, but also reflects the ultimate pursuit of craftsmanship details. The use of these materials and techniques not only ensures the practicality of the design, but also enhances the overall aesthetic.
This case fully considers the functional requirements of sports venues in terms of technology, such as the visual guidance effect of strip lighting fixtures, which enhances the decoration of the space and provides good lighting effects. In addition, the five story design of the public area, as well as the irregular GRC columns at the south entrance, demonstrate a high level of architectural technology. The precise application of these technologies and specifications ensures the perfect combination of practicality and aesthetics of the venue.
