Yuanda International Hot Spring Hotel

This hot spring hotel is located in Yuanmou County, Chuxiong Prefecture, Yunnan Province, known as the "Eastern Hometown of Humanity." It collects natural underground hot springs in this small city with an average annual temperature of 21°C, achieving a per-fect blend of health preservation and leisure tourism.

The soft design emphasizes comfort, livability, return to sim-plicity, and modern health preservation. To summarize it with a quote from Mr. Zong Baihua: “In the finite, we see the infinite; in the infinite, we return to the finite”. All consciousness stimulated by various senses relative to the design itself creates a spiritual space environment, emphasizing the dynamism of the mind and highlight-ing the decisive role of the individual's 'heart' in relation to external things.

The hotel serves as a temporary haven for travelers, offering more than just physical rest but also a significant opportunity for experiencing local culture. The local Kapok trees adorn the streets and alleys. We have incorporated this element into the hotel's soft design, integrating it into specific soft furnishings such as sculp-tures, furniture patterns, lighting fixtures, carpets, and more. Through design, we aim to express local culture and artistry in the soft furnishing products, thus allowing the city's floral beauty to bloom within the hotel space.
