SoloTime SHIMBASHI

"SoloTime SHIMBASHI" is a newly opened coworking office in SHIMBASHI, Japan, a lively business district with a mix of offices and restaurants. The concept is "a place where you can relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city." In the post-pandemic, people are going out again, and we aimed to create a place where business people who often go out want to stay on the way. The design theme is "Effortless Chic×SHIMBASHI". By incorporating the rounded form of the 100-year-old arch viaduct that symbolizes SHIMBASHI into the design, we aimed to create a space that gently envelops visitors. In addition, in order to express the characteristics of SHIMBASHI city, the bricks that decorate the city and the lanterns that line the restaurant area have been transformed into modern expressions and incorporated into the interior. By incorporating indirect lighting that creates a soft impression, spacious furniture placement, and soft-touch fabrics, the entire facility gently welcomes visitors and creates a calm and comfortable space.
