Elysian

The idea for designing this ring has been taken from one of the most ancient Persian symbols, Faravahar. Faravahar is a seated male figure with two wings on his sides and a sun on his head . He is believed to be the representative of purity and illumination. His message is based on three words: Good thoughts, Good words and Good deeds. Two strings under Farvahar wings are a sing of joining holy nature and walking away from evil thoughts. Faravahar wings gave me the idea of designing two wings on sides of the central green gemstone. The central green stone has been used as a symbol of a new beginning, growth, and rebirth. This rebirth happens only when inelegance and evil are left behind and inner peace and goodness is achieved. Faravahar is seen in many ancient monuments and epigraphs, most of all it is observed in many parts of Persepolis – the glorious major center of Persian Empire and one of the most highlighted sites of world`s civilization history – and Darius III royal tomb, the last Achaemenid king of kings of Persia.

I took this beautiful ancient symbol for my design as a sign of virtue and truth, carrying a valuable message from our ancestors. I found it an amazing idea to deliver this old message to a new generation in the form of an adorable ring with a novel design. No message can be more precious than the one which promotes Good thoughts, Good words and Good deeds.
